big surprise

don't be. surprised, that is. brook and i headed to BWW (buffalo wild wings) in creve coeur after work yesterday. mind you, i'm pretty familiar with creve coeur...but had no idea where bww was located. other than on olive. so, exit 270 at olive. make a left (heading east). nothing. i take that back. there was something. gobs of westbound traffic. gobs. no telling why. well, about 3 blocks down, we decide "no, let's turn around and head the other way." we do that. 30 minutes later, we clear those few blocks of traffic and are heading west on olive. we're going. we're going. we're going. bww is nowhere in sight! finally, we come upon "welcome to chesterfield!" yikes! chesterfield? but, bww is off olive in creve coeur. wtf? once again, we turn around and head east. eyes peeled. there's no missing it this time! wouldn't you know when we finally found it (an hour after leaving work!) we had just missed happy hour! ($2.50 pints...instead, we payed $4 per pint) and the worst part? we passed it from the very beginning. brook was cracking up because once we found it, she says "you know, i saw that buffalo sign, but didn't think anything of it!" argh! while there, an old friend of mine from school stopped in to visit for a minute...he lives in creve coeur. brook and i kept downing pints. and wings. i think 3 pints (each) later, we decided to stop and head back home. too bad. because those beers were going down way too easy! the best part? we have a bww opening in our neighborhood within the next month or so...you know where you'll be finding the two of us...35 cent wing tuesdays, 50 cent leg wednesdays. if you don't know about bww, check out their website: www.buffalowildwings.com it's so worth getting to know 'em!
