roxy, roxy...how does your garden grow?

how flippin' exciting to wake up this morning to just bloomed poppies and irises! these poppies are huge when in full bloom. the ones you see are approximately 5 inches in diameter! it's kinda sad though...they'll be dead by tomorrow or saturday the latest. so...i had to enjoy the splendor of these wild beauties...while they last!

these irises are some of my favorite! i have 4 or 5 other color combinations that bloom...but these white and purple tipped irises are always first to bloom.
