tank you, tank you very much...

so, the tank i'm working on...recast-on for the second time after about 4 inches of work. frogged it because i noticed that i was working the rib pattern instead of the rib/eyelet pattern. so, sunday at snb yielded this...(i told you...i'm not in this hobby for speed!)

a close up of the rib/eyelet pattern helps visualize the detail. of course, short needles are the suck. in order to show you this little bit of detail, i had to cram the rest of the work to the end of the needle. still does the work little justice. the tank is knit from the bottom up and in two panels, front and back. i'm working with size 11 bamboo(chiagoo). the yarn is slippery on the needles and a bit tedious to work with but i think in the end, fingers crossed, it will be worth it!

and btw...i'm planning on a contrasting or nude colored tank for underneath this piece...no way, no how am i showing bare skin through this piece of work. i will retain a bit of modesty, thank you.
