after the girls eat their evening meal, they usually crash in the living room, uh, excuse me...their living room until it's time for their "before bed walk." usually, izzy gets the love sac and stella takes the dogbed or couch. since her acl repair though, she has been reprimanded when attempting to hop up on the furniture or go up the stairs.
well, i prepared my dinner after feeding them and walked into the living room to find this...
izzy sleeps with her eyes open quite a bit...it's actually a greyhound thing. i took this picture at a different angle to avoid retinal glare from the flash. so, her eyes look more closed in the photo than they actually appeared. stella was zonked out, too. i quietly grabbed my camera and snapped these two pictures. of course, stella heard me in front of her and...
woke up seemingly perturbed...let sleeping dogs lie...yeah, yeah. i couldn't help it! they both looked so cute!
"geez, mom...why can't you just let us sleep? get that stupid flashing thing out of my face!"
