don't eat the yellow snow!

yes folks...it is currently snowing...yesterday being the first day of spring and here we are with about 2-3 inches so far. unbelievable. so, i'm enjoying my first cup of coffee and trying to gear up for the 35 mile drive to work. i wonder how many people are gonna be on my commute that have never driven in snow before! hehe. on saturday, i finished my first pair of socks! i had set them down for about a two week time period because i couldn't catch up with mae, the beaded fiber patch owner, who was teaching me how to do them. well, saturday, i went to the shop, and made it my day's goal to close them up and get them off the needles...i did two socks on two sets of circulars at the same time. definitely the way to go...you finish one, you finish them both!!! i can't wait to get working on other pairs with all my new delish yarn from sunshine yarns. dani is amazing with her colorways and the yarn will knit up into great socks, i'm sure. want to know where to find her? here you go! http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=4375

the girls are doing great...they actually are starting to run around (in the house and outside) and play with one another. it's funny to come home and look for what izzy has brought out from hiding...sometimes a sock from the laundry, a whatnot from the office trash bin (yesterday, it was a chia goo needle case for size 15, 24 inch length), she doesn't destruct or chew...it's just a quirk of greyhounds...bring owner possessions out and into their living area. always funny.

well, the drive beckons...i better finish getting ready and head out!
