no, i didn't hurt. well. for a split second it did. but i would consider eyebrow tweezing more painful. seriously. the craziest part about the process...and, poo, neither one of us brought our cameras...is once the needle is in and through...it rests on the edge of the upper lip. so, no moving! or else, you're getting a gratis lip piercing!!! hehe. immediately following the push of the needle, my right eye swelled with tears and bloopbloopbloop...3 fat drops spilled down my cheek. missy, on the other hand, bled for some time following the piercing. she's the type of person who flushes red at the instant of anger, embarrassment, or pain. so, those capillaries were wide open pre-piercing and found an outlet once the needle was in!
as disturbing as it sounds, i wish i had a picture of the process! or post process but pre jewelry insertion. is that bad?
