oh my chocolat!

so. i am probably one of the few people that to this day hasn't watched the movie Chocolat. horrible, i know...well, my dear friend autumn was so lovely to lend me her copy. she gave me explicit instructions to have chocolate on hand. i thought...okay. well. i have chocolate. in the pantry. no need to fret.

i plopped down on the couch and started the movie. i am not kidding you...but a sudden, intense urge came over me to make this mid movie. another most dear friend, bev, taught me many years ago how to make this....



CHOCOLATE GANACHE!!! i could bathe in this stuff. i used ghiradelli bittersweet chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream. totally fat free. i know. (i wish) pure heaven to my mouth! ohmy. how decadent. how delicious. how sinful! hehe. i went back to watching the movie. with a newfound appreciation for the art of chocolate making. yum.
